Whether you have a few hours or a whole weekend to spare, your contribution would make a huge difference. Plus, volunteering at the Fair is a fantastic way to connect with your community, make new friends, and have a ton of fun in the process. Volunteer Opportunities
- Set Up: Help with tasks like infrastructure placement, construction, signs, and cleaning.
- Shifts available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until 5 PM.
- Break Down: Assist with deconstructing infrastructure and loading materials into storage.
- Shifts available on Sunday evenings after 5 PM.
- Button Sales: Sell Sterling Fair buttons/pins to attendees. Requires standing during the shift.
- Shifts available on Friday after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 5 PM.
- Parking: Direct fair attendees to parking areas. Requires standing during the shift.
- Shifts available on Friday after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 5 PM.
- Trash Collection: Help collect and dispose of trash on the fairgrounds while riding in a golf cart.
- Shifts available on Friday after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 5 PM.
- Water Distribution: Hand out water bottles to fair volunteers across the fairgrounds while riding in a golf cart.
- Shifts available on Friday after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 5 PM.
- Exhibition Hall Monitor: Observe attendees in the exhibit tent to ensure displays are secure. Requires sitting during the shift.
- Shifts available on Friday after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 5 PM.
- Livestock Show Assistant: Assist the Livestock Chair with paperwork and tabulations associated with the Livestock Show. Requires sitting during the shift.
- Shifts available on Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
- Gate Keeper: Ensure that only authorized personnel enter through your station. Requires intermittent standing during the shift.
- Shifts available on Friday after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 5 PM.
