About the Sterling Fair
The Sterling Fair is a free, family-friendly celebration of our town’s agricultural heritage, local traditions, and community spirit. Each year, thousands of visitors gather to enjoy live entertainment, livestock exhibits, tractor and horse pulls, contests, local food, vendors, and family activities.
Whether you’re attending for the first time or continuing a family tradition, the Sterling Fair offers something for everyone.

FAQ
Is the Fair really free?
Yes, the Sterling Fair is completely free to attend!
There is no admission charge to enter the fairgrounds and enjoy the fair atmosphere, agricultural exhibits, livestock barns, entertainment, exhibit hall, vendors, and many family-friendly activities.
Some activities, food vendors, games, rides, or specialty attractions may have separate costs, but general admission to the Sterling Fair is free for everyone.

Can I bring my dog/pet?
No ā pets are not allowed at the Sterling Fair. To help protect the safety of guests, exhibitors, and livestock, only registered service animals are permitted on the fairgrounds.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes. Please ask the Information Booth for the location of hte ATM or any of the Sterling Fair volunteers.
How much are the ride tickets?
Ride pricing is set directly by our carnival provider, Gillette Midway.
Is smoking allowed on the fairgrounds?
No, smoking is not permitted on the Sterling Fairgrounds.
Do vendors accept credit cards?
Yes.Ā A lot of the vendors do accept credit card payments.Ā We also have an ATM on site.
Is the Fair Handicap Accessible?
Yes, the Sterling Fair offers handicap accessible parking and golf cart transportation for guests with mobility impairments.
Please note that the fairgrounds are outdoor grounds and some areas may include uneven terrain, but it is generally flat.
