OPEN YOUTH SHEEP SHOW
Sunday
Shelter is provided. Any animal not passing Massachusetts state health requirements will be refused entrance. Health papers need to be checked before animals are offloaded from trailers.
Dress for all classes will be white top tan pants. All sheep will be penned from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Judging starts on Sunday at 1:00pm. if there are fewer than 3 sheep to a class the judge reserves the right to combine classes and /or breeds., no bedding provided.
Entry fee is 1.00 a head
If there is interest the following fun classes will be held for youth and adults
Lead line-person dressed in wool garments leads a well groomed and trained sheep.
Costume class-sheep and /or person dressed and/or decorated usually as something other than Sheep.
Entries are to be filled out via the sterling fair website www.sterlingfair.org all entries are due Sunday Sept 1th.
Payment is due at time of check in, please make checks payable to The Sterling Fair
NOTE-Though not required any sheep that stay the entire weekend will be eligible for herdsman award 15.00 cash prize
