OPEN DAIRY SHOW
Entry instructions-Shelter provided. No animals under 4-months of age are to be shown .All cattle must be penned from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Please bring your own bedding, food , and water containers.
NOTE: Cattle must be present both Saturday and Sunday for premiums
All entries are to be filled out via the sterling fair website www.sterlingfair.org, deadline is Sunday September 5th
ENTRY FEE: 2.00 a head, entry fee is due at time of check in with checks made payable to The Sterling Fair
Judging starts Saturday September 11th 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
If there are fewer than 3 entries the Judge reserves the right to combine classes.
Breeds: Ayshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Holstien,Jersey, Milking shornhorn
Prizes: 1st-$35.00, 2nd-$32.00, 3rd-$29.00, 4th- $20.00 5th 15.00 Class 11
(fitting and showmanship) will be awarded 4 money prizes and
Trophies. Note Fitting and Showmanship is youth only.
Showmanship age rules:
Senior: Ages 14 through 20 as of January 1st
> Junior: Ages 8 through 13 as of January 1st
> Novice: Anyone 8 and over as of January 1st with no previous showing experience
