OPEN SHEEP SHOW
Shelter is provided. Any animal not passing Massachusetts state health requirements will be refused entrance. Health papers need to be checked before animals are offloaded from trailers.
Dress for all classes will be appropriate shirt and solid color pants. All sheep will be penned from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Judging starts on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. if there are fewer than 3 sheep to a class the judge reserves the right to combine classes and /or breeds, no bedding provided.
Entry fee is 3.00 a head
All animals must be owned by exhibitors by July 1 of the show year.
Entries are to be filled out via the sterling fair website www.sterlingfair.org all entries are due Sept 1th.
Payment is due at time of check in, please make checks payable to The Sterling Fair
All pens must be cleaned & checked by Fair staff before leaving Fairgrounds or premiums will be forfeited.
LIVESTOCK SUPERINTENDENT WILL HAVE FINAL SAY ON ALL ENTRIES.
To qualify in a class, a breed must have three(3) or more exhibitors and ten(10) or more sheep.

3 Yearling ram
4 Ram lamb
5 Pair of ram lambs
6 yearling ewes
7 Pair of yearling ewes
8 Ewe lamb

10 Grades, ewe lamb
11 Grades, yearling ewe
12 Get a sire(3 animals same sire)(ribbon only)
13 Pen of three lambs (ribbon only)
14 Flock(ram, 3 ewes any age)
* market animals may not be shown in any other class
