OPEN BEEF SHOW

Shelter provided. All animals must pass the Massachusetts State health requirements. No animal under 4-months of age may be shown. All cattle must be penned from 9:00 a.m. Saturday to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Please bring your own bedding, feed, and water containers.

 

NOTE: Cattle not mandatory to stay overnight. Those that stay overnight will get an additional 30.00 premium.

 

All Beef Cattle entry forms must be filled out via the sterling fair website www.sterlingfair.org deadline is Sept 1st. Entry fee is due at the time of check in. Make checks payable to The   Sterling Fair

 

Judging starts Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

If there are fewer than 3 entries in a class, the judge reserves the right to combine classes.

 

BREEDS: Angus, Hereford, Dairy-beef crosses, and other

Purebreds.

PRIZES:1st $35.00, 2nd $32.00, 3rd $29.00, 4th $20.00 5th 15.00

Showmanship age rules:

Senior: Ages 14 through 20 as of January 1st
> Junior: Ages 8 through 13 as of January 1st
> Novice: Anyone 8 & over as of January 1st with no previous showing experience
