Preserved Products
Entry instructions — Open to all ages. Products must be from the current year’s produce and prepared by the exhibitor. All canned products, including jams and jellies, must be sealed by processing. Process fruits and tomatoes with a boiling water bath, and process vegetables and meats with steam pressure. No paraffin seals. Labels and jars must be uniform. Label the front of the jars with the product name. Label the bottom of the jar with your name. Remove metal rings. Exhibitors should be aware of “head space.”
Prizes 1st – $3.00, 2nd – $2.00, 3rd – Ribbon (classes 1 to 4)
